EXCLUSIVE: Is Akshay Kumar a part of Kartik Aaryan-led Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3? Director Anees Bazmee BREAKS SILENCE

Anees Bazmee is a film director, screenwriter and producer who works in Hindi cinema. He is best known for directing for No Entry, (2005) Welcome (2007) and Singh is Kinng (2008). In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Anees Bazmee breaks the silence if Akshay Kumar will be a part of Kartik Aaryan-led Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

Anees Bazmee reveals if Akshay Kumar will be in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

When asked how Kartik Aaryan was cast in Bhool Bhulaiyaa and if Akshay Kumar read the script, to this Anees Bamzee replied, “No, no, look at what this film is. A long time ago, I and my producer, Mr. Murad Khetani, wanted to make a film, and we liked the script. We were working on that, and I think it was in progress for about a year to a year and a half. Then something happened where we thought, Let’s mix in the world of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa.’ It’s not that we made the film keeping ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ in mind; the basic idea of the film was very good, and it fit well into our ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ sequel. And anyway, if we are making a sequel, I didn’t want to make it a psychological thriller.”

He further added, “I wanted to create a different world, add horror elements, and create an entire atmosphere. I had never done horror before, and I was excited. Because I had made love stories, suspense thrillers, and comedies—all kinds of films except horror. So, this was a genre I hadn’t explored yet, and I thought it would be fun to try it out. I said, Until we dive into the water, we won’t know if we can swim or not. So, this film, which we created in this world, turned out to be very good and beautifully made.”

Speaking on whether Akshay Kumar, who was originally in Bhool Bhulaiyaa, will be a part of this film, to which Anees Bazmee said, “No, no, it’s nothing like that. We have announced the actors we have worked with in the film.”
